Hi!

I'm afraid this might be a niche request, but I was wondering if it would be possible for Voice Mac to not share authentication with Safari?

In other words, I have Voice Mac installed on my wife's and my computers, and we want to share my Google Voice account. However, she has her own Google account. Unfortunately, signing in to Voice Mac with my information changes her login in Safari to my account next time she opens a Google page. Similarly, logging in to, say, Gmail with her account while Voice Mac is not running clears my log-in credentials from Voice Mac.

While it's nice to have Voice Mac pick up the credentials from Safari initially, it would be really nice (at least for me!) to have it store the credentials separately so one didn't have to keep switching account information.

Thanks!

I agree - this is very infuriating as I get logged out of all my Google session in Safari constantly!

It seems as if managing the authentication separately is indeed possible somehow as the latest version of the "GV Connect" widget does this…

I have a way to do this but it'll take awhile to make it work. Some things are not in 10.6 that where in 10.4 that I'll need to do it, so I need to do loads of research to do it.

I just added support for multiple accounts also making the sessions not shared with Safari at http://mrgeckosmedia.com/VoiceMac.zip
