I watched the debug log scroll by as it was running and it very much looks like this is a race condition -- I have *so many* contacts that it's still actively downloading contacts from google and inserting them into your data structure when I'm typing in the contacts window, that there's some kind of inconsistency in the data when the search occurs.

Maybe you can just deactivate the search text box until all contacts have been downloaded / indexed / whatever...? That would avoid the problem altogether. Alternatively, you could make the inserts / searches safe from each other. I have no idea how you implemented it, so I don't know if that's easy or hard. :-)

I can send the log, but I'd prefer not to post it here (it's full of my info, my contact names, etc.). I assume you have my email address from the web site posts; do you want to mail me off-forum and I can reply with the log if you still need it?

Only thing I would need is the last few lines where it crashed so I can see what happened when it crashed. My email is support@mrgeckosmedia.com.

weird, I guess qmail doesn't check the mx record, send an email to support@mrgeckosmedia.net, this one is on my mail server.

At least it works sometimes, as I said in your other thread, I am remaking Voice Mac from the ground up and it should not have any problems anymore.
